PwC: Game of Threat

BDO: Attackers and Defenders™

BDO does not use the concept of computer-based gamification, but workshops. One of them is Attackers and Defenders ™. In this game, they divided participants into two teams; as an attacker and defender. Each team must then determine what assets should be attacked or defended, along with their reasons.

The gamification case study that BDO uses involves the main elements of risk, asset vulnerability, and threats that participants might face. In the future, this game can improve the risk management function so that it has a more strategic role in the organization or company.

Walmart Gamification to Address Safety Practices

Walmart also chooses to use a microlearning and gamification platform for its risk management training. Employees will spend 3-5 minutes playing games and answering security questions. Furthermore, this platform will provide feedback about their answers.

The main objective of the training is to create a focus on maintaining the company’s security walls on an ongoing basis. Since using this strategy, Walmart’s employee security has significantly improved.
